Window well drainage

Window wells can be a source of basement dampness and they can spill into the basement through the basement window. To eliminate this problem, we will remove your old wells and then dig down to your foundation’s footing. We fill this hole with gravel up to 10-12” below your basement window. If your problem is severe, we will recommend adding a catch basin and sump pump to your window well to pump the water out to your lawn or a dry well. Finally, if necessary, we will replace your old window well with a new galvanized well.
